USAmeriBank president Brad McMurtrey named to Florida Bankers Association board of directors
Statewide organization appoints industry leader
CLEARWATER, Fla. (October 30, 2013) -- Thomas (“Brad”) McMurtrey, president and a founding director of USAmeriBank, has been named to the board of directors of the Florida Bankers Association.
McMurtrey has been in the financial services industry for more than 30 years, including time with Barnett Bank, AmSouth, and Premier Community Bank. He has served in various leadership, management and executive roles, including a leading role in the founding and continued success of Tampa Bay’s USAmeriBank.

The prestigious Florida Bankers Association board of directors includes esteemed industry leaders from around the state.

McMurtrey has served the community in Pinellas County in various positions, including with the local Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, and as a mentor and a tutor for children of local public schools. Also, he previously served as the Board President of Big Brothers Big Sisters for Pinellas, Hernando, and Citrus counties.
Also, he is a graduate of the LSU Graduate School of Banking, and a current member of the American Bankers Association Community Bankers Council. McMurtrey graduated from Florida State University.
