Hooters Construction to Close Part of Mandalay Avenue Wednesday Morning

The northbound curb lane of Mandalay Avenue north of the Clearwater Beach Roundabout will be closed Wednesday morning for a concrete pour at the soon-to-open Hooters.

Putting the finishing touches on the Hooters at Clearwater Beach will cause part of Mandalay Avenue to close early Wednesday.

The northbound curb lane of Mandalay Avenue north of the Clearwater Beach Roundabout will be closed to traffic from 6 to 8 a.m.

A flagman will direct traffic.

The three-floor structure features the Hooters on the second floor with a third-floor rooftop bar and a Ron Jon Surf Shop on the first floor. The building is expected to open in the space next month, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
