Rain Threat Moves Blast Friday to Ruth Eckerd Hall

The city's monthly event to draw residents downtown is moved across town to Ruth Eckerd Hall because of weather.

Blast Friday is at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 N McMullen Booth Rd., rather than on outdoors along Cleveland Street because of potential rain, according to a post on the city's Facebook page.

The event still is free and features a performance by the Robin Zander Band from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

Blast Friday typically occurs on the last Friday of the month along Cleveland Street near Osceola Avenue.
