The Cowboy Mafia is just trying to put rock back into music.
Taking cues from hard rocking bands like Motorhead and Social Distortion, The Cowboy Mafia, give every performance their all. They play an electric blend of music they call "punk and roll."
And, if you ask them, it's simple.
"(We're) trying to bring back the true spirit of live Rock & Roll music which has been lost for quite some time now."
The Saturday (Oct. 15) night show at Beer Goggles was no exception.
The Tampa-based band rocked the crowd. The show also included opening support from local acts HouseBroken and Death Rays From Vegas.
Packing the venue at five dollars a head, The Cowboy Mafia lived up to the hype surrounding them in the bar scene.
The group has gained a reputation locally from playing at a variety of bars and clubs in the Tampa Bay area including Crowbar, Brass Mug, and Cafe Bohemia
The Cowboy Mafia play their next gig Oct. 21 at All Stars Sports Bar, in New Port Richey.
