Fans were stacked on top of each other to catch a glimpse of performer Skyler Gordy aka Sky Blu of the Los Angeles duo LFMAO at Friday night.
Crowds rushed the stage as Sky Blu danced up to the front of the stage and behind the turntables at 1 a.m. on the dot even as patrons still waited in line to get in.
Fists started pumping as all the big radio hits came out of the bag reaching a climax with "Party Rock Anthem." LMFAO's current single, is the biggest hit of their career which features production from GoonRock and vocals by Lauren Bennett.
The 93.3 DJ crew got things started up early with a wide variety of dance music including a track by Duck Sauce called "Barbara Streisand' which was the crowd favorite and saved for last just before Sky Blu came out from behind the curtains to applause.
LMFAO became a household name in 2008 when the track, "I'm In Miami Bitch" was used as the theme song for the television show "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami." Then in 2009 the song "Get Crazy" was picked up by the MTV show "Jersey Shore."
2011 has been a huge year for LMFAO with a new clothing line as well as just returning from a world tour. However, it's back to work as LMFAO is currently on tour with Ke$ha, Spank Rock, and Natalia Kills as part of the "Get Sleazy Tour.'
