Fiona Apple Goes on a Rant During Clearwater Concert

A video of the musician slamming her critics and Internet tabloids during her appearance at Ruth Eckerd Hall was recently posted on YouTube.

Fiona Apple railed against her detractors during a recent concert in Clearwater, the Huffington Post reports.

The musician, who performed Sept. 29 at Ruth Eckerd Hall, sat on the stage floor and went on a rambling lecture in which she slammed her critics, including gossip websites PerezHilton and TMZ. A video of the rant was posted on YouTube last week.

The 35-year-old Apple was arrested at a border stop Sept. 20 in Texas after marijuana was found on her tour bus, according to the Huffington Post. An unflattering mugshot photo then made its way around the Internet.

Apple called the tabloids "irresponsible" during her Clearwater visit and noted that she's not on any drugs, but that "I had some bourbon before I came out here."
