Romanian House Music producer Edward Maya performed a worldclass DJ set to a full house at The Venue in Clearwater Wednesday night.
The Clearwater stop is part of Maya's world tour which started in India and has continued around the globe steadily as House Music fans have piled into clubs for a chance to hear him perform.
Drawing around 1500 people to the Venue, Maya had the audience going bananas from his first tune until the last record dropped. Maya dove into his set with ease playing all the big hits to keep the audience happy and dancing.
Confetti blasted the room as his mix reached it's peak and took the night to new heights. When the music was finally shut off and the club closed it's doors at 3 a.m. the fans still wanted more from Maya.
Maya started his music career in 2006 working with other Romanian artists such as Cassa Loco, Studio One, and Dj Rynno.
One of his songs even made it to the Eurovision Song Contest that year. And within a few short years he had an international hit on his hands with the track, "Stereo Love." The video for "Stereo Love" has more than 120 million views on YouTube at the current time and it's also the longest charting song on European Hot 100 at 47 weeks of consecutive play.
Recently Maya has started his own record label called Mayavin Records and has released two new singles.
