Dead Superstar was formed in 2006 by lead vocalist Terence Keith in the ashes of his former band, Perseverance along with bassist Troi Mosby.

According to the group's SoundCloud page, "Their passion to perform and create great music ignited a fire in them to create a powerful sound that would be heavy enough to please the hardest headbanger, but rocking enough to crossover to the masses."
