Dead Superstar Rises From The Grave At Beer Goggles

Long Island, New York's Dead Superstar performed at Beer Goggles Saturday (October 1st) for packed house of hard rock fans.

Dead Superstar, from Long Island, New York, performed for a packed house of hard rock fans at Beer Goggles Saturday (Oct. 1).

The national act took Clearwater by storm on the early October leg of its Florida tour.

Other bands on the Saturday night bill included Bullets and Sunshine, Love Burn Die, Fight Another Day, and Love In War. They all played their own brand of hard edged Rock 'n Roll.

Dead Superstar was formed in 2006 by lead vocalist Terence Keith in the ashes of his former band, Perseverance along with bassist Troi Mosby.

According to the group's SoundCloud page, "Their passion to perform and create great music ignited a fire in them to create a powerful sound that would be heavy enough to please the hardest headbanger, but rocking enough to crossover to the masses."

The event also marked the offical grand opening of Seminole's newest vintage punk rock boutique, Anarchist Closet. The freshly stocked store specializes in "used and abused" punk, metal and goth garb.
