Comedian Tim Allen Bringing Standup Routine to Ruth Eckerd Hall
The voice of Buzz Lightyear and star of 'Santa Clause' is offering a night of adult comedy for parents whose kids have enjoyed the comedian's movies.
All American TV/film comedian Tim Allen is bringing his adults only standup tour to Ruth Eckerd Hall on July 25 at 8 p.m., according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Allen is well-known for his G-Man roles -- that is, "G" for General Audiences. He played Tim Taylor on "Home Improvement." He was the elf Himself in "Santa Clause" movies. And Allen was the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the "Toy Story" movies. You can't get much more wholesome than that.
But Allen will star in his own standup routine on July 25 that is being promoted for Mature Audiences. Message: Leave the kids home with a babysitter, and enjoy a night out with the Comedian Next Door.

Tickets are expected to go on sale Saturday, May 11, at the Ruth Eckerd Hall ticket office, 1111 McMullen Booth Road. Price is $49-$115.
