Looking for a fiesta to celebrate Cinco de Mayo?
Help honor the Mexican Army’s 1862 victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in a plethora of ways in Clearwater.

East Gateway Cinco de Mayo Celebration
What: This family-friendly celebration starts with the Gateway Farmers Market and features main events, from 3 to 8 p.m., include live bands and authentic Mexican entertainers, folk dancing and children’s activities.
Headline performers include Yoshiee, Cortez de la Sierra, the Trio Amistad Huasteca, the Mariachi Invasor de Mexico and Grupo Mahetzy.
When: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday, May 4
Where: 1200 block of Cleveland Street
Parking: Parking is available at the Fifth Third Bank, 1150 Cleveland St., Greektown Grille, Maxa Enterprises, and the large grass lot on the corner at north Lincoln and Cleveland streets. Visit myclearwater.com/eastgateway.
Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Cali's on Mandalay
What: The event features door prizes, food and drink specials and a DJ spinning salsa tunes starting at 7 p.m.
When: 12-11 p.m. Saturday, May 4
Where: 608 Mandalay Ave
Cinco de Pikasso
What: Get buy one get one on drinkware and 20 percent off chip and dip platters.
When: 12-6 p.m. Sunday, May 5
Where: Practically Pikasso Safety Harbor, 500 Main St.
