Virginia Family's Truck Donation to Help Monitor Sea Turtle Nests

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium will use the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado to monitor sea turtle nest sites along 26 miles of Pinellas beaches.

After watching the movie Dolphin Tale, Lee and Krystal Chaklos had to do something.

Although they live in Virginia, Winter's story of perseverance after losing her tale in a crab trap and being rehabilitated at the made an impact on them.

So, inspired to make a difference, the Chaklos, donated a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado that will be used by the aquarium to patrol the nearly 26 miles of beach during sea turtle nesting season, .
