1. Additional Suspect Charged in Jason Paul Stabbing

Devin Monte Boykins, 23, of St. Petersburg, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact in the murder of Jason Paul, who was found stabbed to death Jan. 6 near Crest Lake Park.

2. What's With the Orange Bikes Around Clearwater?

Well, it is not a magic trick or public art project. It is a marketing and branding strategy for a new fitness center opening Jan. 2 at 25853 U.S. Highway 19 N, in the Cypress Point Plaza near the Burlington Coat Factory.

3. Roommate Charged in Murder of Woman on Turner Street

Paul Alexander Denk, 58, was arrested and charged with first degree murder of Amy Lynne Arnold in her Turner Street home early Thursday morning.

4. Now Open: Hamburger Mary's On U.S. 19

As the restaurant's name implies, Mary's specializes in hamburgers, but easily substitutes chicken breast, turkey burger or vegetarian black bean patty for any dish. Mary's also serves freshly made soups, salads and wraps, as well as dessert items that harken back to childhood, like fried Twinkies and S'mores.

5. Aquarium Ballot Sent to Absentee, Overseas Voters

Mail ballots to absentee and overseas voters soon will be sent out regarding the Nov. 5 Special Election regarding the $160 million Clearwater Marine Aquarium plan for City Hall property.
