Portion of Sunset Point Road Closed Friday
The westbound lane of Sunset Point Road between Edgewater Drive and Douglas Avenue will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1.

The westbound lane of Sunset Point Road between Edgewater Drive and Douglas Avenue is closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1.
There are about 4,840 cars that travel that part of the road daily.

A flagman will be present to direct traffic during the construction, which includes asphalt work as part of a reclaimed water piping expansion project.
The road was closed for crews to repair utility pipes in October. It was closed for a month as crews work to add a reclaimed water line through the neighborhood in February, 2012.
