After a grueling weekend at the National Softball Association Florida State tournament, the ChemDry Clearwater/Largo men's softball team was named the Florida State Champions. After playing nine games in two consecutive days and missing two of their top players the last day of the tournament, the championship came down to a double elimination round. The team has qualified to play in the the Men’s Super Series Softball Tournament in Indianapolis and will be competing in the International Softball Association State Championship tournament on August 17 – 18, for the chance to qualify for the World Championship, which will be held in Georgia.
