Meet Paws!

"Hi there, I'm paws. When I first arrived at the SPCA, I was missing a lot of my hair because of flea bites, I'm allergic. If you're going to take me home would you mind keeping me on a quality flea control? Even if one bites me I could have an allergic reaction. After 8 years with my last family, I was brought here to SPCA Tampa Bay when my humans could no longer afford to take care of me. Because I wasn't in such great shape when I came in, my friends here decided to send me to a foster home to gain health and confidence. When I was finally ready to go up for adoption at the shelter, I was very nervous and I spent a lot of time hiding in my bed. Volunteers and staff thought they might never see me come out, but with love and patience I have journeyed out of my hiding place and I am making so many friends. I you decide to bring me home, please be patient with me and remember that I will need extra time to adjust to my new surroundings. Come spend some time with me and see if we might be a perfect match.
