Adopt Your Own Easter Bunny!

Easter is coming up fast! We have lots of cute rabbits available at SPCA Tampa Bay who would just love to be your Easter Bunny! Rabbits make wonderful pets, and would bring lots of joy to your family. Rabbits do, however, need some specialized care and are not as easy to care for as hamsters and gerbils. They require exercise, toys to keep them entertained, and enough space to keep them comfortable. Rabbits can also be trained to use a litterbox! Some even do well being walked on a harness. It is also very important to keep electric wires and toxic plants out of their reach, because they do tend to chew them. Rabbits require a balanced diet with lots of timothy or alfalfa hay, lettuce and other veggies, as well as pellets. Some rabbits do not like to be picked up and held, but they do enjoy being petted and played with. If you think a rabbit could be a great addition to you and your home, stop by and meet our furry friends! We have staff and volunteers that would be happy to answer questions about rabbit care. Consider giving a bunny a much needed home for Easter! Their adoption fees are $25, which include a spay/neuter surgery and microchip!
