The New Age of Caregiving Symposium
The New Age of Caregiving Symposium by The Caregiver Hour Radio Show for professional and family caregivers is all-day program to help caregivers create balance in their lives using an integrative approach to wellness.
The symposium includes CE classes, breakout sessions, holistic and traditional exhibits, breakfast, lunch, and a keynote address by Gail Sheehy, the renowned author of the best-selling book “Passages in Caregiving.”
Also, Chad Harper, a hip-hop artist and founder of Hip Hop Saves Lives, will perform "Perfect Harmony," a song inspired by an article by Harmony Home Health Caregiver Advocate Linda Burhans. "It's a feel-good, relaxing song to put a smile on your face," Harper said in a prepared statement.
Special CE Class: “The New Age of Comfort," an integrative approach to achieving optimal comfort through traditional and non-traditional modalities being offered to social workers, nurses, case managers, and geriatric care managers. Co-instructed by Tina Costa, R.N., with Arcadia Homecare and Staffing, and Sheryl Hanson, R.N., with Suncoast Hospice.
