Morton Plant Mease is part of BayCare Health Service, and offers a wide spectrum of health services, from award-winning cardiac care, to top maternity programs, to cancer services that are considered the best in the Tampa Bay area. As part of the local Clearwater Morton Plant Mease campus, the wellness center seeks to be a health club that focuses more on the "health" aspects of fitness than the "club" part. The state-of-the-art center goes beyond aerobics and weight lifting to encompass total wellness, for body, mind and spirit. Services include nutritional consultation, personal training, accelerated fat loss, massage therapy, group fitness courses and even child care. This particular center is located in the Cheeks-Powell building on Pinellas Street in the Clearwater Morton Plant Mease campus.
