The Ruth Eckerd Hall and The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute are located on the same lot on opposite sides of the same building. Most people have experienced a performance at the well-known Ruth Eckerd Hall or have at least heard of the many amazing performances that frequent the stage on an ongoing basis since 1983. Tickets can be purchased online or at the hall for anything from pop and rock to comedy and plays. Banquet and meeting spaces are available for events such as weddings and corporate functions to almost any other type of celebration or get-together. Since 1988, the Eckerd Theater Company has produced theater for young audiences and in 2003 a new facility opened and was named in honor of Marcia P. Hoffman. Classes are offered for toddlers to adults; a complete schedule of classes is available on the website.
