I have been in the Credit Card Processing Industry for 20+ Yrs. The Best advice I could give you isRead More NEVER NEVER USE YOUR DEBIT CARD FOR ANYTHING BUT TAKING CASH FROM AN ATM MACHINE, PRIMARILY FROM YOUR OWN BANK. ONLY USE CREDIT CARDS FOR ALL OTHER PURCHASES. Here is why. If You get your debit card hacked, your entire bank account balance can be stolen, and you will bounce checks and the bank will charge you on top of your stolen money, a $35 NSF fee per bounced check. If You only use a credit card for all other transactions, and it is hacked, they are stealing MC & Visa's Money NOT YOURS. The Bank has no responsibility to reimburse you if your bank account is drained by hacked debit card. Credit Cards have basically zero liability to you if it is hacked or stolen. AND NEVER NEVER USE A DEBIT CARD FOR INTERNET TRANSACTIONS OR RESTAURANTS OR GAS PUMP PURCHASES, AS THIS IS WHERE MOST CARD DATA IS STOLEN. READ THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN AND DON'T BE A HELPLESS FRUSTRATED VICTIM, BE SMART AND FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE RULES ABOVE.

I did the math and researched the same Cancer Societies tallies that YOU noted (which are slightlyRead More more per annum for prostate cancer vs breast cancer but I didn't want to split hairs). Your stats on age an mortality rates (which are also age factored) mean nothing to me considering this ridiculous charity has chosen to monopolize cancer donations that will NEVER benefit 50% of the worlds population. The pink campaigns are undeniably sexist but have no problem soliciting male sports teams to celebrate their cause....

Never mind. It's obvious you have issues.

Alright, that was the end of my annual rant on the matter. Just to be clear though you weren't onRead More top of the mountain when a hoard of cackling pink supporters burst into the lodge from a blizzard wearing tutu's, fairy wings, and pink face/war paint that possibly had something to do with rank. My wife says my position would be better stated by pointing out the millions of cancer victims who will suffer each year and not benefit because they didn't have the right kind of cancer and this foundation has taken marketing to absolutely sinister levels by forming a monopoly. Pink is breast cancer and there is no room for it to ever be anything else. Crayola should sue them for the cost of reinventing a replacement color...Also how do they have an entire month and when did it be OK for marketers to seize on things which are fundamental to our understanding of reality. What's next a subsidized year and who decides such things? I see my wife's point but there is no need to over complicate things. A charity which only represents 50% of the population should not ethically receive 98% of charitable funds.
