Police Renew Bold Plea to Find Murder Suspects

Clearwater Police renewed a plea for the public's help in finding the suspects involved in the murder of Clarence Bolden during a poker game 10 years ago.

A decade after Clarence Bolden was shot dead while playing poker, police are renewing a plea to the public for information to help find the suspects involved.

Bolden was playing cards with friends in a shed behind 1722 Fulton St. on Feb. 7, 2002. It was about 10:44 p.m. when two unknown men knocked on the door. A poker player inside opened the shed door. That's when the men, whose faces were concealed with shirts, came in armed with handguns announcing a robbery.

The suspects demanded the group give up their money. Bolden balked, and one of the suspects shot him and then shot Adrick Buck. The suspects fled the area with an undetermined amount of cash.
