The Marauders (2-1) already have garnered some attention this year by taking East Lake to overtime before losing on a fluke play. They took care of business, beating Hudson last week 42-0. This week, they host a Palm Harbor team (3-0) coming off a win over Seminole.
"PHU has I feel the best QB in the area and really presents some problems for us," said head coach John Davis.
The Marauder defense has not surrendered a touchdown since the first half of the East Lake game, so they are playing well as a group but Palm Harbor is a giant of a program and should be a heavy favorite.
Offensively, CCC will be without sophomore tackle Anthony Walker who suffered a broken collarbone last week.
Still, they are rushing for more than 270 yards a game, primarily with senior running back Justin Goodloe. Goodloe is averaging more than nine yards a carry and has five rushing touchdowns on the year.
