Man Charged with Child Pornography, Bestiality

A Clearwater man was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and 10 counts of child pornography Tuesday after police found images on his computer and cellphone. 

After investigators with the Clearwater Police Crimes Against Children and Families Unit got a tip about Eric Manuel Antunes, 29, they went out to make contact at his St. John Drive residence.

When detectives talked with Antunes, he admitted to downloading and viewing child pornography, according to police. Nine images and one video were also discovered after a forensic analysis of the computer.

Several bestiality images were also seen on Antunes' cellphone, according to investigators.

The animal cruelty charge was referred to the State Attorney's Office for prosecution, officials said.
