Film Commission Seeks Condo for Movie Shoot

The St. Petersburg/Clearwater Film Commission is seeking suggestions for a condo to use for a day of shooting for an indie film.

A local producer urgently needs a condominium building as a filming location for ONE day.  Send your suggestions to :  info@Filmspc.com

The location needs are very specific: 

• A wide circular drive in front of the main entrance.
• The entry to the main entrance must be spacious and tall – about 2 stories.
• A fountain in the middle of the circular drive is a plus.
• Multi-story condo building.
• Preferably a 1970s-style architecture. 

The entry way will be crucial to the scene.  It would easily accommodate the actors and a car without cramping. 

The example in the photo is perfect, but building owners and manager are asking an amount that greatly exceeds the budget. The production will pay a location fee and insurance, but the budget is indie-film sized.     

This location will be used for one day. It’s a foreign film that needs establishing shots of a Florida beach  retirement community. My office has been working with this project for eight years.  Although we are only getting a tiny part of the project, it’s a wonderful story that will warm the hearts of viewers.
