Clearwater Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old man at the Town Place Apartments Thursday morning.

The man, who's name will not be released until next of kin is notified, was found dead at 6:29 a.m. in unit 84 at the Town Place Apartments, 2545 NE Coachman Road, according to police.

Investigators do not suspect foul play.

"He has a history of drug use and there was evidence of drug use at the scene," Joelle Castelli, police spokeswoman, said in a release.

Exact cause of death will have to be determined by the Medical Examiner's office.
