Known for its white sandy beaches, sunsets and tourist appeal, it should come as no surprise Clearwater is also one of the most romantic cities in the country.

Now Amazon confirms it.

The  Internet sales giant released a list of the 20 most romantic cities in the country, with Clearwater ranking No. 12 Thursday. The rankings are based on sales information of romance and relationship books, romantic comedy movies, Barry White albums and sexual wellness products.

The information was culled based on per capita sales since Jan. 1 from cities with a population of 100,000 or more.

Clearwater is not the only Florida city on the list. Miami, Orlando, Gainesville and Tallahassee also rank. Here is the complete list:
