Clearwater Motorcyclist Killed in I-4 Crash
Jeffrey Ryan Sorsby, 26, was the second Clearwater driver killed in a crash this weekend.
It has been a tragic weekend for Clearwater motorists. A second Clearwater man has died in an early-morning accident.
Jeffrey Ryan Sorsby, 26, was killed when he crashed his motorcycle in Hillsborough County around 3:25 Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Sorsby was in the outside lane of the I-4 exit to I-275 when he lost control while driving on a curve in the ramp. Sorsby was thrown from his motorcycle, then tumbled over a concrete barrier and landed on the shoulder of the I-275 underpass. He died at the scene.
Sorsby, was the second Clearwater resident to die in a weekend crash. Christopher Holly, 28, was killed while trying to make a u-turn on U.S. 19 around 3 a.m. Saturday. Holly's suv was hit by a car that ran a red light, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
